PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – June 1, 2004 – Hudson Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:
HDSN), announced today that the Nasdaq
Listing Qualification Panel has determined pursuant to an amended
exception that, effective with the open of business on Wednesday,
June 2, 2004, the fifth character “C” will be removed from the
Company’s symbol and the Company’s common stock will continue to
trade on The Nasdaq SmallCap Market under the symbol “HDSN.”
As of June 1, 2004, the Company
satisfies Nasdaq’s $2,500,000 shareholders’ equity requirement. The
Panel will continue to monitor the Company’s compliance with the
minimum shareholders’ equity standard until the Company has
demonstrated an ability to sustain compliance with the minimum
shareholders’ equity requirement over the long term. In this
regard, the Company is required by the Panel and expects that it
will file its Form 10-QSB for the quarter ending June 30, 2004 with
the SEC and Nasdaq on or before August 16, 2004 evidencing continued
compliance with the $2,500,000 shareholders’ equity requirement.
The Company’s stock symbol was changed
to “HDSNC” in November 2003 for the period during which its common
stock was listed on The Nasdaq SmallCap Market via an exception
granted to the Company by the Nasdaq Listing Qualification Panel for
the stockholders’ equity/market value of listed securities
requirement as set forth in Nasdaq MarketPlace Rule 4310(C)(2)(B).
The amended exception is also conditioned upon the Company’s
continued compliance with all of the requirements for continued
listing on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market.
