HUDSON TECHNOLOGIES APPOINTS
JAMES R. BUSCEMI
AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. –

Hudson Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: HDSN), a leading refrigerant services
company specializing in proprietary on-site decontamination services for
large comfort and process cooling systems, today announced the appointment
of James R. Buscemi to the position of chief financial officer.
Mr. Buscemi, a certified public accountant, has served as
Hudson’s corporate
controller since June 1998, with responsibility for the company’s internal
and external financial reporting, banking and auditing relationships,
computer information systems and internal controls. Prior to joining
Hudson, he held various financial positions within Avnet, Inc., including
chief financial officer of Avnet’s electric motors and component parts
subsidiary, Brownell Electro, Inc.

Brian F. Coleman, president and chief operating officer, had retained the
responsibilities of chief financial officer following his promotion in
August 2001.
