HUDSON TECHNOLOGIES RECEIVES NASDAQ DELISTING NOTICE
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – August 21, 2003 – Hudson Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: HDSN)
today announced that it received a notice from Nasdaq indicating
that the Company is not in compliance with the minimum $2.5 million
stockholders’ equity requirement for continued listing on The Nasdaq
SmallCap Market as set forth in Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(2)(B).
Accordingly, the Company’s securities are subject to delisting from
the Nasdaq SmallCap Market.
Hudson has
requested a hearing with a Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel to
review the staff determination. The Company is exploring a number
of possible avenues to preserve the listing of its securities on the
Nasdaq SmallCap Market, including a stay of the delisting pending
the successful completion of corporate actions that would increase
the Company’s equity above the level required by Nasdaq. However,
there is no assurance that the Panel will grant the Company’s
request for continued listing.
Hudson’s stock will continue to be traded on the Nasdaq SmallCap
Market pending the final decision by Nasdaq. A hearing date has not
yet been set by Nasdaq.
