AHRI Standard 700 – Specification for Fluorocarbon Refrigerants – establishes purity specifications and identifies the associated methods of testing for acceptability of fluorocarbon refrigerants for:

  • Water (Moisture)
  • Chloride
  • Acid
  • High boiling residue (oil, etc.)
  • Particulate
  • Air and Non-Condensables
  • Purity
  • Other Contaminants
